Planting our tropical plants

Our newest family members!

Heres' a picture of Abigail Lily Williams, isn't she so cute!

Hey I gotta get in my practice somewhere!!

Little Perry Nolan Anderson came all the way down from Idaho to come and say hi to us! He has the cutest smile, and the funniest laugh as you'll soon find out!

Gabi was trying to teach him how to read, but he was more interested in the toy.

He always wants to know what is going on around him, especially when it's a camera taking his picture.

But he can only take so much before he has to stick something in his mouth. Yummy, farm animals!

Gabi captured this awesome picture of the little ones getting to know each other.

Our 1 year anniversary!!!!

If I look sad it's because of the bright sun coming through the clouds. But it is definitely a happy day for both of us!

A picture to prove that we were at the temple on our special day!

A nice lady that was passing by offered to take pictures for us, don't we look great!

We still need some more practice, but this will do for now.

And one to show our good side.

Animals cont.

Ok so we obviously weren't done with our animal friends. I was working in the "garden" outside and when I was almost finished, a little ugly bug started scattering across the ground by my feet. When I noticed that it was a scorpion I used the shovel in my hand to slice it in two on the first try!!

This little fellow was like this when we found him. Gabi can never get pictures of the coyotes alive, so we took advantage of this one that was sleeping on the side of the road, during the day, when it was very hot, with lots of noise, and a hard bed.

Animals

Encounters with animals isn't exactly planned out, it just happens and hopefully we are prepared when they come.

This little booger was found as I pulled back the sheets just before jumping into bed. I saw it crawl along the side towards the foot of the bed and quickly grabbed a sandal to survive the game of life. Once I was sure it at least wasn't moving any time soon, I scooped it up and dropped it in the toilet which gave us the perfect opportunity to take a picture. Since it wasn't sinking, Gabi made sure it wasn't coming back by pouring some alcohol on it. Long story short, we won't be seeing any more of him around for a while, but if we do, we'll gladly show them the same respect if not better to send them home.

Before you take a close look at the next picture, just be sure you're not feeling nauseous because it is well... just gross. I'm just glad there was only 1 casualty that night while driving.

After driving for a while we decided to stop on the side of the road and I took a seat on the curb, when all of a sudden Gabi noticed something to the side of me....what could it be?

Well whatever it is, it sure has a huge blood trail from the impact point.

Taking a closer look, it's nothing other than a huge jack rabbit who wandered in front of the wrong night lights that night.

Don't pay any attention to the pile of innards behind it, but if you notice besides the head turned 180 degrees the rear-end was beautifully skinned and even better, it was without the aid of any human hands (well directly at least, the steering wheel doesn't count).

I just don't want you guys to think I'm a sick person, it was just a traumatic experience I was able to share with my sweet wife who always has her camera on hand for such occasions.

Brazilian Bowling!

So we could finally get out of the house and do something with friends, we met up with them so we could go bowling on the air force base.

Look it's a Gabi and Sharon sandwich!!

There must be radioactive material on base because our socks were glowing.

I was just naturally glowing like the guy on the movie Sky High with his glowing personality. I guess the darkness brings out my superhero ability.

Besides my crooked mouth, I really like this picture.

It's a good thing I took a little bowling class in middle school so I could pose just right for this picture, so it was all worth it.

I helped Lili with her bowling skills by using the cheater bar thingy, and she got a strike! Maybe I should start using it myself!

Gabi had to have a picture of her kicking the bowling ball because of a joke she has going on with someone from her mission, so I was happy to take a picture of her.

A final picture with everyone after we had had our fun.

Shooting adventure!

So my dad had the great idea to go shooting with him so we went along even though it was hot outside.

He was our guide and little helper as we began training Gabi how to shoot to kill!!

We got her to hold the gun and stand just right for her picture, let's see how well she did...

Would you look at that, absolute destruction of the milk jug. Now we just have to be careful when she gets mad that she doesn't have a gun close by, hahaha.

Now it was my turn to show my stuff. We had a shotgun (shown) to destroy the closer objects, and a 30-6 rifle for the long distance milk jugs.

Yeah that's right, I couldn't let her beat me, so I had to hit my target too.

All in all Gabi's first shooting adventure went well, and the best part is that we both hit our targets!!
